Nillumbik Repair Cafe

This September cafe we will have our wonderful bunch of skilled volunteers with basic tools who are willing to work with you to try and fix your broken items.

Help us plan for the day by registering everyday objects too. This way we can try to match a fixer to your object:

Our handy fixers and tinkerers can help with clothing, new and old tech, small household furniture, sewing machines, blunt knives and scissors, mechanical garden equipment like lawnmowers, and miscellaneous broken household objects.

Kids are welcome to hang out at the Tinker Table. Have a go at pulling apart some simple objects, checking out how they work, and trying to put them back together!

Bring your broken items to the repair cafe for fixing and prevent them being sent to landfill. A friendly and talented bunch of repairers meet up the second Saturday of each month at the Hurstbridge Community Hub in Greysharps Road.

Check their Facebook page for more info!
