Hurstbridge’s Annual Wattle Festival is on Sunday 27th August, 2023
Join us Sunday 27th August, 10am - 4pm, for a day of sensational fun and nostalgia as our village swells with pride and people. We have trees full of yellow pom poms decorated by our wonderful yarn bombers, masses of wattle trees flowering, and a visiting heritage steam train with all the wonderful noises, scents, and sights of yesteryear.
We’ve got lots of live music dotted around the town, market stalls, vintage cars, children’s and grownups' entertainment galore, and loads of delicious food from Hurstbridge traders and extra stalls, including the CWA’s legendary Devonshire Teas at Hurstbridge Primary School.
Greasy Zoes, our 2 Hat Age Good Food Guide legends will be firing up their wood fire grill and serving up lashings of their famous American-style 48-hour smoked Beef Brisket rolls and Harissa Cauliflower and Halloumi rolls. Yum! No bookings required…and superb ambiance, festival style. Lach will be pouring @hargreaveshill craft beer on tap outside and wines by @punchwines - with music at 2pm by Matt Alford.
Loads more fun with pony rides, art exhibitions, and our infamous and cheeky Miss Wattle will be roaming the town entertaining us.
