Nillumbik Repair Cafe & Garage Sale Trail & Edible Hub food swap!

Last Repair Cafe for the year with lots on at the Hub on the same day..

Pick up a bargain at the Garage Sale Trail at the Hub lounge and visit the Edible Hub food swap.

As always we will have a wonderful bunch of skilled volunteers with basic tools who are willing to work with you to try and fix your broken items.

Help us plan for the day by registering. This way we can try to match a fixer to your object:

https://events.humanitix.com/repair/tickets

Our handy fixers and tinkerers can help with clothing, new and old tech, small household furniture, bikes, sewing machines, blunt knives and scissors, mechanical garden equipment like lawnmowers, and miscellaneous broken household objects.

Kids are welcome to hang out at the Tinker Table. Have a go at pulling apart some simple objects, checking out how they work, and trying to put them back together!

Bring your broken items to the repair cafe for fixing and prevent them being sent to landfill. A friendly and talented bunch of repairers meet up the second Saturday of each month at the Hurstbridge Community Hub in Greysharps Road.

Katankin

Helen’s unique and compelling voice, along with her poetic, cuts-to-the-bone songwriting, put their unmistakable stamp on Katankin’s songs. She writes and sings unflinchingly from the darkest recesses, and the soft, often icky underbelly of the human experience – wading through love, despair, loathing, tenderness, fear, rage, lust, and then up, up, up into the light.

Mary-Lynn Griffith

Sassy singer songwriter, Mary-Lynn Griffith, brings melodious melodica, enthusiastic ukulele, dynamic vocals and a hot rhythm guitar and sings about love and loss, old myths, game shows and sometimes the GST, (and yearns to be part of a glorious revolution you can dance to). MLG has played across Australia and in Europe and is a part of the band “Siren”.
